Diagnosis of Autism (ADOS testing)

At Five Star Pediatric Therapy, we understand the importance of early diagnosis in managing Autism Spectrum Disorder. We offer immediate Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) testing, a standardized protocol for observing and assessing social interaction, communication, play, and imaginative use of materials for individuals suspected of having autism. This service helps to reduce the long wait times often associated with diagnostic services, allowing us to begin behavioral therapy sooner.

Assessment of Essential Skills

Our team of experienced professionals conducts comprehensive assessments of essential skills. These assessments help us understand the unique needs and abilities of each child, allowing us to tailor our therapy and intervention strategies to best support their development and growth.

Parental Consultation for Services

We believe that parents and caregivers play a crucial role in a child’s development. That’s why we offer parental consultation services, providing guidance, resources, and support throughout the entire process. We work closely with parents to help them understand their child’s needs and how best to support their child’s development at home and in the community.

1:1 Direct Behavioral Therapy

Our one-on-one direct behavioral therapy services are designed to help children with Autism Spectrum Disorder improve their social, communication, and behavioral skills. Our experienced therapists use evidence-based techniques to encourage positive behaviors and reduce problematic ones, all in a supportive and nurturing environment. At Five Star Pediatric Therapy, we offer in-home and in-clinic services.

Advocacy/Support for IEPs

Navigating the special education system can be challenging for parents. At Five Star Pediatric Therapy, we offer advocacy and support for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). We work with parents and schools to ensure that each child’s educational plan is tailored to their specific needs and that they receive the appropriate services and supports in their educational setting.
